Robert Kugel
SVP & Research Director of Office of Finance
Rob, an ex-employee of Alteryx, led the CFO and business research efforts, focusing on the convergence of information technology with finance and business functions. Within this role, he directed research into financial performance management, delving into areas such as IT-driven financial process enhancement, collaborative systems, analytics, and advanced budgeting. Before joining Ventana Research, Rob contributed his expertise as an equity research analyst at esteemed firms including First Albany Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Drexel Burnham. He also held a consulting position at McKinsey and Company. Rob's prowess earned him recognition as an Institutional Investor All-American Team member and a spot on the Wall Street Journal All-Star list. With a background spanning aerospace and defense, banking, manufacturing, and retail and consumer services, Rob earned his BA in Economics/Finance from Hampshire College and an MBA in Finance/Accounting from Columbia University. He holds a CFA charter.
