Earlier today, it was announced that Alteryx has won a 2023 Dresner Advisory Services Industry Excellence Award. Dresner named us an Overall Leader, a distinction Alteryx had never previously received. We also snagged a “perfect recommend” score from customers and a few other best-in-class distinctions.
Industry recognition is always welcome, but we wanted to go beyond the high fives and pats on the back to focus on why we won this award, which weighs the relative merits of some 25 BI vendors. The results are based on data collected from end users and examine company performance across all products and services.
The awards are based on ratings in Dresner’s annual BI Market Study. Overall leadership awards recognize vendors who demonstrate excellence across all categories of measurement: product/technology, sales and service, value, and confidence. In each category, they offered specific insights as to what our customers believe sets us apart.
- Sales/acquisition experience: Alteryx’s scored high in responsiveness, flexibility/accommodation and post-sales follow-up.
- Quality and usefulness of product: Alteryx distinguished itself with its online training forums and documentation, overall usability and integration with third-party technology, the report said.
- Quality of technical support: Alteryx performed well with responsiveness, personnel continuity and swift resolution of problems.
- Quality and value of consulting services: Alteryx’s continuity, value and experience emerged as three things that set our consulting apart from that of other vendors, according to the report.
In naming us as an Overall Leader, the Dresner report showed that Alteryx was best in class for product robustness/sophistication of technology, completeness of functionality, integration of components within product, overall usability, and customization and extensibility.
Alteryx also scored high for value for price, vendor integrity and whether customers would recommend us to others. Alteryx scored above the overall sample in all three categories and improved our year-over-year score for value and integrity while notching a perfect score in terms of customer recommendations.
